Which Sales licence do you need: Professional, Enterprise or Premium?

For most B2B sales teams Sales Enterprise is the safe choice: it places no limits on customisation and includes forecasting. Professional is enough when the process is simple and few custom requirements are expected; Premium pays off when you really need Copilot and Sales Insights.

Sales Professional — €56.30Leads, opportunities, quotes, Outlook integration; for smaller teams with simpler processes.
Sales Enterprise — €91.00Full customisation, forecasting, more complex processes and integrations. The typical starting point for a sales team of 20–50 people.
Sales Premium — €130.00Everything in Enterprise plus Sales Insights and 1,000 Copilot credits. Worth it if the team will use the AI features in daily work.
Not everyone needs a full licence. Users who only read, approve or manage their own records may be fine with Team Members (USD 8 per user per month); users who only run a custom Power App may need just Power Apps Premium (€17.30 per user per month). During discovery we go through the roles one by one.

How much does a Dynamics 365 Sales implementation cost?

A Sales implementation for 20–50 users typically takes 30–50 consultant days, i.e. HUF 4.5–7.5 million net (approx. €12,000–20,500), delivered in 2–3 months. This covers process discovery, solution design, configuration in iterations, data migration, testing, training and go-live.

IntegrationsERP, invoicing, web shop or telephony connections — each integration adds days.
Data migrationVolume and cleanliness of the data from the old CRM or spreadsheets matter; de-duplication and carrying over history are work too.
Customer ServiceAdding customer service makes the project larger; with omnichannel (email, chat, phone) it typically takes 3–5 months.
Custom developmentPlug-ins, PCF controls, a custom portal — where configuration is not enough.

The first 1–2 hour discovery call is free. Our proposal shows implementation, licences and operations on separate lines, so you see what is one-off and what is recurring. The implementation steps are described on the Dynamics 365 consulting page.

How much does operations cost after go-live?

We provide operations on a monthly retainer: user and role management, tickets, minor changes and preparation for Microsoft’s twice-yearly release waves. The fee depends on the number of users, modules and integrations and on the committed response times, so we quote it in writing after discovery. The packages are described on the Dynamics 365 support page.

Worked example: what do 25 users cost for a year?

A sales team of 25 on Sales Enterprise costs €2,275 a month, €27,300 a year at list price. Annual licence cost of the three plans for 25 users:

Plan (25 users)Per monthPer yearPer year, approx. in HUF
Sales Professional€1,407.50€16,890approx. HUF 6,197,790
Sales Enterprise€2,275.00€27,300approx. HUF 10,017,740
Sales Premium€3,250.00€39,000approx. HUF 14,311,050

The total first-year cost is made up of licences, the one-off implementation and operations. From the second year the implementation drops out; licences and operations remain.

What increases and what reduces the total cost?

The right licence mixFull licences only for people who actually sell or handle cases; cheaper licences for read-only and approver roles. This often saves more than any discount.
Standard features firstWhat Dynamics 365 does out of the box, we configure rather than develop. Custom code costs more to build and more to maintain.
Clean data before migrationCleaning duplicates and incomplete records in the old system is cheaper than doing it during migration.
Available decision-makersThe most common cause of delay is not technology but waiting for decisions. Every week of delay costs consultant days.
Automated regression testsTests that run before each twice-yearly Microsoft update mean fewer production incidents and fewer support hours.

How do you get an exact price for your company?

Ask for a free 1–2 hour discovery session: we review your processes, user roles, integrations and the data to be migrated. The result is a written proposal with implementation, licences and operations on separate lines.
